Live, work, play

As our society evolves, so must our built environment. Architecture needs to evolve beyond parametric and generative designs, incorporating readaptability and growth in order to change with the society. With present technological advances, a building needs to take on the role as an information processor, absorbing, processing and exchanging data in real time, proposing configurations adapted to the ever-changing needs of its users.

Eleo

“Eleo” is a compact and multifunctional seat. When Eleo is closed, it is a beautiful and useful coffee table that can contain some magazines, or a cushion, on its empty space in the middle. Thanks to 4 hinges per side, Eleo become a comfortable seat with different configurations: armchair, lounge chair, chaise lounge and a little sofa or bed.
Its sides have a “stripe look” designed to curved surface and follow the hinges’ movements. This element is made of a polyurethane soul, added to a wood-like layer. The upholstery could be in leather or fabric and its coating is easily to remove thanks to a simple zip system. The base and the frame are in aluminum to make it lighter.
The Eleo’s family was designed following the same simple and elegant concept. Eleo is also combinable to create a bigger seat for more people.

Stripe

“Stripe” is a packaging that enhance the shape of the mouse pad. It was designed to contain but at the same time to show the product to the customers, to reduce the quantity and the weight of cardboard and to be easily foldable. It is composed of a little stripe of cardboard. In front there is the logo and some picture, behind there is a little description and some links.
The pay of is “tidy up…or fold it” to summarize the functions that the mouse pad offers. The cursor next to the logo, instead, recalls the main function of the product.
